The challenge.
Understood.
Six campus buildings, a mix of flat and slate roofs, and the need to respect the buildings’ appearance made this more than a standard rooftop installation. Each array needed the right mounting approach, safe access and well-considered connections to create a cohesive campus-wide system.

Expertise.
In every detail.
Our team designed, supplied, installed and commissioned 481 Trina Solar Vertex N 605 W modules with 12 Fronius inverters across the six buildings. We used non-penetrative Renusol FS Pro E/W ballasted mounting on the flat roofs and Renusol Variosole+ mounting on the slate roof, matching each installation to its setting. Full roof edge protection, bespoke scaffold staircases and coordinated cable routes supported the five-week programme. Electrical connections, commissioning and Fronius Solar.web monitoring completed the package, bringing the individual roof arrays together with a clear view of system performance.

The difference.
Delivered.
The completed installation gives UCA Farnham approximately 291 kWp of on-site renewable generation capacity. It adds a practical energy asset to the campus decarbonisation programme, with monitoring that lets the operator track performance across the systems as part of day-to-day energy management.
