Information used by this website

You can browse our services and projects without providing your name or contact details. Our custom website code does not add advertising trackers, visitor analytics, social-media tracking pixels or embedded maps. Wix provides hosting, security and platform services and processes technical usage information as described below. Fonts, photographs and scripts are served with the website.

Our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. This is used for website delivery, security and fault diagnosis, on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a reliable and secure website.

When you make an enquiry

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional company and phone number, selected service and project message. When you press Send your enquiry, the information is submitted through Wix Forms and stored in our Wix account for authorised staff to handle. Wix may create or update a business contact record from the email and company details you provide. We do not sign you up to marketing through this enquiry form. You can also contact us directly by email, phone or post.

Once you send an enquiry, we use the information you provide to respond, understand the project, prepare a quotation and manage any resulting relationship. Where you are enquiring as an individual about a contract with us, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering that contract. For business contacts, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and arranging building services. We may also need to retain relevant information to meet legal obligations.

Required form fields are marked with an asterisk. We need these to respond to your enquiry; you can call us instead. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or information about other people that is unnecessary for the enquiry.

On the contact page, essential browser storage holds an anonymous Wix visitor token so the form can load and submit securely. Who may receive information

Authorised Broad Oak staff handle enquiries. Our website hosting is provided by Wix.com Ltd. and its service providers. Wix processes technical information to deliver, secure and operate the website. Our optional project-selection preference controls only the browser storage described above; it does not control essential hosting and security technologies. Wix processes form submissions on our behalf. Our email and IT providers may also process enquiries when we respond or use notification services. Professional advisers, insurers or public authorities may receive information where necessary for advice, claims or a legal obligation. We do not sell enquiry information.

Where information is processed

Website hosting and support use international infrastructure, so technical request information may be processed outside the UK. How long information is kept

The privacy-choice cookie lasts 90 days. Optional project-selection data lasts for the browser-tab session and is deleted by this site when you switch that preference off.

Enquiry correspondence is kept while we respond and for as long as it is needed to manage resulting services, resolve queries or meet record-keeping, insurance and legal obligations. The period depends on whether an enquiry leads to work and the records involved. Technical hosting records follow the provider’s security and service retention arrangements. Your rights
