The challenge.
Understood.
The refurbishment needed to address the whole heating system: boiler plant, distribution, radiators, controls and safety. New equipment also had to work with retained pipework, with a clear handover for the building’s operators.

Expertise.
In every detail.
We stripped out the boiler room and installed new boiler plant and flues, extending the refurbishment through the building with 68 radiator replacements and new valves. Our team installed and commissioned the BMS, completed the associated electrical works and integrated the gas solenoid with the fire alarm. We flushed and treated the system, insulated pipework and recommissioned the retained heating circuits alongside the new installation. Testing, electrical certification, valve records and operator training completed the handover, giving Progress Housing Group one team responsible for the connected works.

Delivered.
Sumner House received a heating refurbishment that extended beyond the boiler room. Renewed plant and radiators were brought together with the BMS and safety controls, while commissioning records and operator training supported the transition into day-to-day use.
