The challenge.
Understood.
Petroc’s campus offered substantial potential for solar generation, spread across eight buildings with different roof constructions. Bringing those roofs into one programme called for individual mounting solutions, safe access and careful cable routing, while making effective use of the space available.

Expertise.
In every detail.
We took the solar package from design and supply through installation and commissioning, bringing eight buildings together within a six-week programme. Our team installed 1,130 Trina Solar Vertex N 595 W modules and 18 Fronius inverters. Non-penetrative Renusol FS Pro E/W ballasted mounting suited the flat roofs, while Renusol Metasol rails secured the arrays on sheet metal roofs. Roof edge protection, bespoke scaffold staircases and carefully planned cable routes supported the installation. We completed the package with Fronius Solar.web monitoring, giving the college visibility of its new generation systems.
- Complete PV design, supply, installation and commissioning
- 1,130 Trina Solar modules with 18 Fronius inverters
- Mounting solutions tailored to flat and sheet metal roofs
- Roof edge protection and bespoke scaffold access
- Coordinated electrical connections and cable routes
- Fronius Solar.web performance monitoring
The difference.
Delivered.
Petroc now has 672.35 kWp of installed solar capacity across its campus, turning available roof space into a long-term energy asset. Forecast generation of 674,272 kWh a year shows the scale of its potential contribution to the college’s electricity supply and decarbonisation programme.
