Renewed plant.
Reassurance for residents.
Broad Oak replaced the commercial boilers at Old School Court for Housing Plus Group, renewing 360 kW of heating capacity and integrating updated plant room safety controls around occupied homes.
The challenge.
Understood.
Ageing boilers served approximately 40 apartments and communal areas. The replacement needed to renew the central heating plant and its safety arrangements while accounting for the needs of residents.

Expertise.
In every detail.
Working with Housing Plus Group and principal designer Morgan and Lambert, we replaced three 120 kW Hamworthy boilers with three 120 kW Vaillant ecoTEC boilers. The upgrade renewed the building’s 360 kW boiler installation and brought the supporting plant room arrangements up to date. We integrated fire alarm, gas and carbon monoxide interlocks as part of the work, connecting the new plant with the building’s safety systems. Installation was coordinated around resident services, bringing the boiler replacement and associated safety upgrades together within one refurbishment.
