01The challenge

The challenge.
Understood.

The entire heating network and radiators had to be removed and replaced within the five-week summer break, ready for pupils and staff to return. The programme called for careful sequencing from strip-out through to commissioning, with the new distribution and emitters integrated with the school’s existing heat-pump-led system and gas boiler backup.

02What we delivered

Expertise.
In every detail.

During the five-week summer break, our in-house team removed the old heating network and radiators and installed a complete new distribution system throughout the school. New pipework, valves, supports, insulation and protective boxing connected a full replacement package of panel radiators, low surface temperature units and fan convectors.

We delivered the associated electrical supplies, controls and wiring alongside making good and fire stopping, bringing every part of the new network together around the retained central plant. Flushing, water treatment, hydraulic balancing and commissioning completed the installation, followed by operating records and training for the school’s team. From strip-out to handover, the work was completed within the summer holiday window.
