PROJECT OVERVIEW
Broad Oak Group partnered with Housing Plus Group and principal designer Morgan and Lambert to deliver a vital plant room upgrade at Old School Court – a residential development comprising approximately 40 apartments and communal spaces.
The project involved the replacement of ageing gas-fired boilers to improve system efficiency, reduce energy costs, and enhance safety and compliance.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Boiler Replacement:
Replaced 3 × 120kW Hamworthy Purewell gas boilers with 3 × 120kW Vaillant Ecotec gas-fired boilers.
Compliance & Safety Upgrades:
Full redesign of the plant room to meet current Gas Safe Regulations.
Installation of a fully interlocked safety system integrating the fire alarm with gas and carbon monoxide detection.
Improved operational certainty for the client and safer conditions for residents.
