PROJECT OVERVIEW
Broad Oak Commercial Services were appointed to support the full refurbishment of the plant room at Ashwood Court, working in partnership with FairHeat for Progress Housing Group.
This four-week project involved modernising the heating infrastructure across the facility, which provides heating and hot water to approximately 40 residential flats and communal areas.
SCOPE OF WORK
These measures enhance energy efficiency by balancing the system, reducing pump speeds, and optimising heat distribution.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE UPGRADES
The refurbished plant room was brought up to full compliance with Gas Safe Regulations, featuring:
A fully interlocked system
Integrated fire alarm system
Gas and CO detection systems
This upgrade provides enhanced safety assurance and long-term reliability for the client and residents.
